Superfood Pitaya Bowl

Ingredients

Pitaya also known as dragon fruit has a beautiful pink color to it which also means it has a surplus of benefits to it such as:

  • High in micronutrients
  • Helps promote a healthy gut
  • Strengthens your immune system
  • Is a good source of magnesium
  • Has many anti-cancerous properties
  • 1 banana (frozen and chopped)

  • 1 cup mango (frozen and chopped)

  • 1 cup dragonfruit (frozen and chopped)

  • ¼ coconut milk (canned and full fat)

Cook

  • Add all the frozen fruit and coconut milk to a blender and blend until creamy. You may need to add a little more coconut milk or water depending on the consistency. I find using a spatula or spoon in between blending helps create a smoother consistency by pushing everything towards the blades.

  • Fill your bowl with the smoothie mixture.

  • And begin decorating your bowl with desired toppings.
