Gluten Free Seed Crackers

These are a perfect substitute for Mary’s Crackers. If you haven’t tried Mary’s crackers to know what the hype is all about I would suggest giving them a try or making these knock offs. They are totally gluten free and made with just seeds and veggies! Absolutely a delicious and healthy snack to dip in hummus, any type of spread or just snack on. I find that they disappear out of our house pretty fast when we make a batch. Let us know if you try out this recipe by tagging us at : @bare.health on Instagram.

  • 3 cups flax seeds, soaked in 6 cups of water for 8 hours

  • 1 cup minced vegetables of any kind or vegetable pulp (what’s left from juicing)

  • 1 cup of water 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh herbs of your choice (or 1.2 tablespoon dry herbs)

Cook

  • Mix all ingredients in a bowl including the flax seed and the soaking water

  • Spread the mixture onto 3 non-stick sheets.

  • Dehydrate at 105-115 degrees F for several

  • hours, then cut into 9 squares, or any size and shape you like

  • Continue dehydrating for 8 hours or until dry on top, then flip it onto the mesh screen

  • Continue dehydrating until completely dry
