Fancy Avocado Toast


Everyone loves avocado toast these days but I think a lot of people forget all the great options you can pair avocado toast with. You can dress this basic dish up or down. The key to having delicious avocado toast though is to ensure you get a good baguette. Sourdough or seeded bread options are usually a safe bet to ensure your toast is going to be delicious.

  • 1 thick slice of bread

  • ½ avocado smashed

  • Olive oil

  • Lemon or lime juice

Healthy avocado toast


  • If you are lazy like me I usually just smash my avocado on the toast but if you want to get fancy combine the avocado in a bowl with lemon or lime juice, salt and pepper. Mash it all together with the back of a fork.

  • Top the toasted bread with your avocado and other desired toppings. Drizzle with olive oil.
