Anxiety Relief Smoothie

Ingredients

Many of us suffer through anxiety. Did you know it can be triggered by a poorly balanced diet? A bad diet can influence our gut biome and your gut biome is in charge of a lot of hormonal balancing. When I am feeling stressed this smoothie adds in natural adaptogens like ashwagandha which is a natural stress reliever. Adaptogens are plants that help support your adrenals, balance your hormones and help your body get through stress. Anyone can truly benefit from adaptogens as we all live in a society that is over stimulating and stressful.

  • 1 cup of your favorite dairy-free milk

  • 1 bananas medium to large size, peeled and cut up, frozen

  • 3 cups frozen strawberries

  • ½ teaspoon of ashwagandha powder

  • 3 pitted dates

  • 1 teaspoon of coconut oil

Cook

  • Combine all the ingredients into a blender and purée until smooth.

  • Pour into a glass and serve immediately.

  • Enjoy!
