Retreat Description:

A weekend health intensive in Napa focused on resetting your physical and mental health. Led byTessa Mini and Matt Kathol, fitness and nutrition experts and owners of Bare Health in Napa, sessions include an individualized health analysis to assess your aerobic health & capacity, and education on how to burn fat more efficiently.

Receive a full review of your personal nutrition, and enjoy healthy plant-based lunches and smoothie tastings, while learning the benefits from a micronutrient level. Experience bio-hacking technologies during the Springhouse Circuit, using heat, cold, steam, and micro salts to activate the body’s natural healing processes.

Postural analysis will be performed on each individual to determine any deviations that are occurring in your body, and a set of therapeutic exercises prescribed to help alleviate your common aches and pains, prevent future injuries, and vastly improve your overall performance. End each day with breathwork and meditation for de-escalation and down regulation.

*A healthy plant-based lunch is included.

Weekend Schedule:

Saturday, September 24:

11:00am -12:00pm – Yoga

12:00-1:30pm: Springhouse Recovery Circuit (A guided experience including a cold plunge, lymphatic roller, cedar sauna, salt therapy, steam room, and Tepidarium)

1:30-2:30pm: Lunch and Nutrition Overview (Benefits of a plant-based lifestyle, plants for optimal health, Monocots versus Dicots)

2:30-4:00pm: Postural / Gait Analysis (Postural Analysis is a powerful way to identify musculoskeletal imbalances that can lead to injury, aches, pains, and performance problems. With this assessment, our experts identify any deviations that are occurring in your body and prescribe a set of therapeutic exercises to help alleviate your common aches and pains, prevent future injuries, and vastly improve your athletic performance. Postural and gait analysis should always be used as a tool in creating every exercise program for any level activity, and is the missing piece in most fitness, athletic, rehabilitation, and injury prevention programs.

4:00-4:30pm Afternoon Guided Afternoon Meditation followed by wine or tea

Sunday, September 25:

11:00am-12:30pm: Aerobic Testing (a 90 minute cardiovascular session to assess and understand optimal heart rate for burning body-fat, preventing disease, and unlocking the secret to maximal energy throughout the day)

12:30-1:30pm: Smoothie Tasting and Lunch (A smoothie presentation that reviews the importance of each ingredient from a micronutrient level and individual benefits; focusing on specific ingredients that support disease prevention, cellular rejuvenation, and energy production. Recipes will be provided to replicate at home. Lunchtime nutrition topics: disease prevention through food and exercise | Cellular Protection through supplements and exercise)

1:30- 3:30pm Postural Therapeutic Stretches and Strength exercises (The Postural Analysis provides a clear path on muscle imbalances. The focus will be on prescribed movement to correct impairments, restore muscular and skeletal function and/or maintain a state of well-being)

3:30-4:30pm : Afternoon Guided Yoga and Meditation followed by wine or tea
